Passed the Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Exam

I recently obtained my first Salesforce certification — Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.

The main two resources I used and that I highly recommend are:

• Trailhead (trailhead.salesforce.com) — Great hands on training that you can complete on your own time.  As an added bonus, Trailhead training is FREE!
• “Salesforce Platform App Builder Developer 401” video training by Mike Wheeler — 20 hours of on demand video training that is easy to follow and effectively covers all the topics on the exam.
